* Portishead confirmed their appearance at Bažant Pohoda festival 2011! I just realized this after a week off-line so it's like the best X-mas gift ever; no matter a bit late. Folks, I would get the tickets if you don't have them already, it feels like that this event might be sold out.

* Today, I saved a bird which bumped against a window on my house. I took the bird inside, waited till it recovers a bit and protected it from being eaten by my dogs. So I found this joke kind of inappropriate on one hand but it's really worth to share. Enjoy!

* Teptin at Prague-East district (435 meters above sea level) reports the first touch of snow in winter of 2010! I hope that there won't be so much snowing as it did last year, it was really 'fun' to clean the yard from snow every morning. :: HERE :: you can see how our yard looked in January.

* msk zilina qualified for champions league *

* Club from my hometown - MSK Zilina - have qualified for the Champions League group stage for the first time in their history after defeating their Czech rivals Sparta Prague 1-0 on the night to go through 3-0 on aggregate. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

* wolowitz, a serious man *

* The Big Bang Theory fans, heads up! Yesterday we went to see A Serious Man movie by Coen brothers - pretty cool, I had good laugh several times. However, the most hilarious moment was when Larry Gopnik went to see a junior rabi.. and it was Simon Helberg aka Howard Wolowitz from TBBT! I couldn't stop laughing for minute or two as well as few people around. I believe that non-TBBT fans can't appreciate this but it was awesome. If nothing else, it is worth to see the movie for this moment only.
